NIGHT ZERO

Cinemavixion Review

In "Night Zero," director Mark Cantu plunges viewers into a post-cataclysmic Baltimore, where three couples grapple with the raw essence of survival. The film, released in 2018, offers a bleak yet compelling narrative that focuses on human resilience in the face of overwhelming disaster. While the IMDb rating suggests a challenging reception, the core premise—exploring human relationships under extreme duress—provides fertile ground for dramatic tension. The strength of "Night Zero" lies in its commitment to its grim scenario and the performances of its cast, particularly Georin Oliver, who anchors the film with a grounded portrayal. It's a stark look at what happens when the lights go out, inviting contemplation on what truly matters when civilization crumbles.
