NIGHT TRAIN MURDERS

Cinemavixion Review

Aldo Lado's 'Night Train Murders' plunges viewers into a chilling descent aboard a train journey that quickly sours. The narrative centers on two young women, Lisa and Margaret, whose festive return home takes a sinister turn when they encounter Blackie and Curly, two menacing figures. What begins as an awkward acquaintance escalates as the group finds themselves sharing a compartment, setting the stage for a tense and disturbing encounter. Lado masterfully builds an atmosphere of unease, exploiting the confined space of the train to amplify the psychological dread. The performances, particularly from Flavio Bucci, are compelling, drawing the audience into the unfolding drama. While the film explores dark themes, it does so with a directorial hand that keeps the suspense taut, making for a memorable, albeit unsettling, cinematic experience.
