NIGHT OF THE TENTACLES

Cinemavixion Review

Dustin Mills delivers a uniquely unsettling and darkly comedic vision with "Night of the Tentacles." This low-budget horror gem plunges viewers into a Faustian bargain gone terribly wrong. The narrative follows Dave, a young artist who, in a desperate bid for a new heart, makes a pact with the devil. However, his new organ is no ordinary replacement; it's a sentient, tentacled entity with a voracious appetite for human flesh. The film masterfully blends elements of body horror, dark fantasy, and a twisted sense of humor, questioning the price of ambition and the true cost of survival. Mills crafts a B-movie experience that is both grotesque and strangely compelling, leaving audiences to ponder Dave's grim choices and the insatiable hunger that drives him. It’s a testament to independent filmmaking, offering a bizarre and memorable cinematic journey for those with a taste for the unconventional.
