NIGHT OF SOMETHING STRANGE

Cinemavixion Review

Jonathan Straiton's "Night of Something Strange" plunges viewers into a spring break nightmare that veers wildly off course. What begins as a typical teenage road trip quickly devolves into a chaotic and darkly comedic zombie outbreak, fueled by a rather unconventional, sexually transmitted disease. The film cleverly blends horror tropes with a decidedly B-movie sensibility, offering a unique take on the undead genre. While the premise might sound outlandish, the execution is surprisingly effective, delivering gore, laughs, and a surprising amount of heart. Garnering multiple wins and nominations, this independent horror flick is a testament to creative storytelling on a budget, making it a cult favorite for those who appreciate a good zombie romp with a twist.
