NIGHT GIRLZ

Cinemavixion Review

"Night Girlz" plunges viewers into a gritty urban narrative centered on three women—Chantal, Diamond, and Meghan—who find their lives irrevocably altered by a fateful encounter at an exclusive party. As depicted in Jasmine Ebony Thomas's 2023 film, the trio inadvertently comes into possession of a duffel bag containing half a million pounds of illicit goods, a 'prize' that quickly becomes a dangerous liability. The film excels in building tension as the protagonists attempt to navigate the treacherous path of selling their ill-gotten gains, all while evading the relentless pursuit of the formidable figures from whom the goods were taken. The plot summary suggests a compelling arc of survival and desperation, where every decision carries the weight of life and death, promising a suspenseful journey into the underbelly of high-stakes crime.
