NIGHT EXPLORERS THE ASYLUM

Cinemavixion Review

In the realm of found-footage horror, "Night Explorers: The Asylum" emerges as a chilling testament to the genre's enduring power. Director John K. Webster masterfully crafts an atmosphere of escalating dread, plunging viewers into the claustrophobic confines of an abandoned mental hospital alongside a group of eager content creators. The film excels in its visceral portrayal of fear, moving beyond mere jump scares to explore a deeper, more malevolent presence that traps its protagonists. The narrative, reminiscent of genre favorites like "Grave Encounters" and "Hell House LLC," resonates with its depiction of digital-age thrill-seekers confronting primal terror. While the external data indicates a modest IMDb rating, the film's strength lies in its immersive approach, effectively capturing the unsettling reality of confronting the unknown when the cameras are rolling and escape seems impossible. It's a journey into the heart of darkness that will satisfy fans of paranormal investigations and psychological horror alike.
