Michael Hurst's 'New Blood' presents a tense family drama centered around the unexpected and violent return of Danny White. The narrative immediately plunges the audience into a high-stakes situation as Danny reappears, wounded, stirring up old wounds and immediate dangers for his father, Alan, and sister, Emma. The film masterfully weaves a tale of familial obligation and peril, suggesting that the prodigal son's return is not just an emotional event, but one fraught with life-threatening consequences. With a compelling premise, 'New Blood' promises a gripping exploration of secrets and survival within the confines of a troubled family.
