NEIGHBORHOOD BLUES - SERIES 1, EPISODE 3

Cinemavixion Review

Presented by Rav Wilding, 'Neighbourhood Blues' is a compelling documentary series that offers an unfiltered look into the daily operations of UK Police Community Teams. This particular episode, the third in Series 1, delves into pressing local issues, including a manhunt for a fugitive, heightened vigilance against street crime like purse snatching, and an investigation into a series of malicious poison pen letters. The series excels in its 'fly-on-the-wall' approach, showcasing the police's firm stance against crimes that disrupt ordinary lives while amplifying the voices of the community. It powerfully illustrates the challenges faced by police in troubled housing estates and their dedication to protecting families seeking tranquility amidst lawlessness.
