NEIGHBORHOOD BLUES - POLICE ENGAGE KIDS IN CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary-style footage captures a commendable initiative by the Humberside Neighbourhood Team aimed at fostering a safer community. The police's engagement with primary school students, transforming a classroom into a mock crime scene, is a creative approach to raising crime awareness. By encouraging young minds to act as 'budding young Sherlocks,' the program seeks to educate and deter potential delinquency, particularly concerning issues like teenage drinking and drug-related disturbances in residential areas. The effort highlights a proactive strategy to build trust and understanding between law enforcement and the younger generation, ultimately contributing to the well-being of the neighborhood.
