NATURAL SELECTION

Cinemavixion Review

"Natural Selection" offers a compelling, albeit dark, exploration of adolescent alienation and the seductive nature of nihilism. Anchored by a solid performance from Anthony Michael Hall, the film delves into the psyche of a high school outsider whose life takes a sinister turn upon befriending a charismatic peer with a dangerous worldview. The narrative skillfully navigates the complexities of peer pressure and the search for belonging, illustrating how easily one can be drawn into destructive paths. While the film may not shy away from its grim themes, it serves as a potent cautionary tale about the influences we allow into our lives. It's a thought-provoking piece that resonates with its exploration of societal pressures and the darker currents that can shape young lives.
