NACIYE

Cinemavixion Review

Naciye plunges viewers into a chillingly intimate horror experience, set against the backdrop of a secluded, seemingly idyllic home. The film masterfully builds suspense as a young couple's hopeful new beginning is shattered by the arrival of a mysterious and increasingly menacing woman. Derya Alabora delivers a commanding performance as the titular character, embodying a complex blend of desperation and danger that fuels the narrative's unsettling atmosphere. Esin Harvey and Gorkem Mertsoz effectively portray the growing terror and vulnerability of the couple, grounding the supernatural elements in palpable human fear. Directed by Lutfu Emre Cicek, Naciye explores themes of invasion and psychological torment with a claustrophobic intensity that lingers long after the credits roll, marking it as a notable entry in Turkish horror cinema.
