MY RETREAT

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a glimpse into the personal havens crafted by individuals seeking solace and fulfillment. It explores a diverse range of dream homes, from serene woodland cottages to secluded lakeside island retreats. The narrative follows homeowners, including retirees and working artists, as they share the inspirations and journeys behind creating their ideal living spaces. While the film celebrates the dedication and vision required to build these personal sanctuaries, it remains an observational piece, focusing on the aesthetic and emotional aspects of these 'retreats' without delving into extensive biographical detail or production specifics.
