Elliott Nugent's 1951 Western drama, "My Outlaw Brother," offers a gritty tale of fraternal bonds tested by the dangerous underbelly of early 20th-century Mexico. Starring the energetic Mickey Rooney as a young man venturing south of the border in search of his errant sibling, the film delves into themes of loyalty and consequence. Rooney's quest leads him into a world of notorious gangs and suspicious Texas Rangers, personified by Robert Preston.
