MY MATRILOCAL HUSBAND

Cinemavixion Review

This romantic comedy centers on Qiao Wan, a producer with a peculiar gift: she can quantify her connections with people by counting their encounters. While this ability aids her professional life, it leaves her romantically adrift. Her path crosses with director Li Yue, and their professional interactions spark a fated connection. As Li Yue pursues her ardently, Qiao Wan finds herself increasingly anxious as the 'count' of their meetings dwindles. The plot thickens with the revelation of Li Yue's own hidden 'superpower,' leaving the audience to wonder how Qiao Wan will navigate this extraordinary turn of fate in their relationship.
