MY HORSE, MY GUN, YOUR WIDOW

Cinemavixion Review

"My Horse, My Gun, Your Widow" plunges viewers into a classic tale of Western betrayal and revenge, masterfully helmed by director Juan Bosch. The narrative unfolds with a daring bank heist, where Doc Saxon and his crew are cunningly double-crossed by the bandit Carrasco. What follows is a patient, calculated pursuit of justice and stolen gold, driven by a desire for retribution. The film benefits from the performances of Craig Hill and Claudie Lange, who navigate the treacherous landscape of greed and loyalty. Bosch crafts a narrative that, while rooted in familiar Western tropes, offers an engaging exploration of how desperation can fuel an elaborate chase. The film captures the gritty essence of the genre, making it a worthy watch for aficionados of Spaghetti Westerns and tales of outlaws seeking their due.
