MY HOME IS A LANDFILL | HOARDERS - BURIED ALIVE IN MY BEDROOM

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the profound challenges faced by Susan, a woman whose once-spotless Kent home has, over 17 years, transformed into an overwhelming testament to hoarding. The narrative paints a stark picture of domestic inundation, where everyday living spaces—from the bedroom to the kitchen—have become inaccessible, buried under years of accumulated possessions. The film poignantly illustrates the psychological grip of hoarding, showcasing a decade-long inability to access a bed and a decade-long struggle to navigate a home reduced to precarious pathways. With over 200,000 views and significant audience engagement, as evidenced by the likes, this program clearly resonates, offering a raw and unflinching look at the human cost of such conditions and the silent battles fought within domestic walls.
