MY EX BURNED MY MOTHER TO DEATH IN FRONT OF ME

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges viewers into the harrowing depths of familial betrayal and violence, centering on the unfathomable act of a mother being burned to death by her own child's ex-partner. Hailing from the acclaimed producers behind "American Murder" and "Social Media Murders," this series adopts a uniquely intimate and immediate approach. By weaving together the victim's own archival footage—spanning social media, phone recordings, CCTV, and personal videos—the narrative unfolds entirely from the victim's perspective. This 'no voiceover' technique empowers the victim, friends, and family to share their stories directly, creating a raw and deeply affecting experience that allows the audience to piece together the tragedy through the eyes of those closest to it. It's a powerful, albeit difficult, exploration of the darkest aspects of human behavior.
