MY DAUGHTER IS PUTTING THE FAMILY THROUGH HELL

Cinemavixion Review

This charmingly chaotic short film, 'My Daughter Is Putting The Family Through Hell,' plunges viewers into the whirlwind of adolescence and its surprising financial realities. Thirteen-year-old Dimity takes the reins of her household for a month, only to be confronted with the unglamorous world of school expenses. The narrative cleverly juxtaposes the typical teenage desires for fashion and social standing with the starker demands of educational upkeep for her siblings. It's a poignant, albeit lighthearted, exploration of responsibility and the often-unseen burdens that accompany family dynamics. The film offers a relatable glimpse into the unexpected challenges that arise when youthful ambition meets practical necessity, making for an engaging and thought-provoking watch.
