MY DAD'S ON DEATH ROW

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges into the harrowing realities of capital punishment through the lens of familial devastation. The film masterfully intertwines two gut-wrenching true crime narratives, offering unprecedented access to the incarcerated individuals themselves, their haunting interviews forming the backbone of the exposé. Beyond the criminals, the narrative bravely confronts the enduring trauma inflicted upon their children, with poignant recollections from the daughters serving as a stark counterpoint to the sensationalism often associated with such cases. The raw, unflinching honesty of the interviews, coupled with the sensitive portrayal of the families left behind, creates a captivating and deeply affecting examination of justice, consequence, and the indelible marks left by unspeakable acts.
