MY BEAUTIFUL BRIDE

Cinemavixion Review

Chadney Cooles's "My Beautiful Bride" (2021) is an intriguing, albeit somewhat niche, exploration of obsession and betrayal, drawing a fascinating parallel to the Grimm brothers' "Hansel and Gretel." The film centers on a man's desperate search for his vanished girlfriend, a quest that becomes increasingly entangled with a mysterious radio confession. Starring Jaime Zevallos, Danielle Burgess, and Peter MacNeill, the film navigates a dreamlike landscape of eroticism and suspense. While the IMDb rating suggests a mixed reception, the narrative's unique blend of psychological thriller and dark fairy tale offers a compelling, if unsettling, cinematic experience for those drawn to unconventional storytelling.
