MY AUTOPSY

Cinemavixion Review

Holly Grayson's "My Autopsy" offers a poignant exploration of resilience, charting a woman's arduous journey to break free from the lingering shadows of an abusive past. The film, released in 2020, masterfully delves into the psychological and emotional toll of such experiences, portraying the protagonist's gradual reclaiming of her agency with sensitivity and depth. Lead performances, particularly from Joseph Moreland and Tyler Hopkins, anchor the narrative, imbuing their characters with a palpable sense of vulnerability and burgeoning strength. While the film navigates difficult themes, its underlying message of hope and the power of self-emancipation resonates powerfully. "My Autopsy" stands as a compelling testament to the human spirit's capacity for healing and growth, making it a significant addition to contemporary independent cinema.
