MURDER OF JODI JONES

Cinemavixion Review

This two-part documentary delves into the harrowing case of Jodi Jones, a 14-year-old schoolgirl whose life was tragically cut short in the summer of 2003. The narrative unfurls in a quiet Scottish town, revealing a shocking twist: her killer was her own 14-year-old boyfriend, Luke Mitchell. Despite his conviction, Mitchell has consistently maintained his innocence. Seventeen years later, this series offers a re-examination of the evidence presented against him. Featuring exclusive audio recordings from within prison, Mitchell recounts his version of events, prompting viewers to question whether an innocent child was indeed wronged by the criminal justice system. The documentary probes the possibility of one of Britain's most shocking miscarriages of justice, inviting a critical look at the trial and its aftermath.
