MURDER MAPS - THE LADY KILLER / NOTTING HILL HORROR PART

Cinemavixion Review

Murder Maps returns with 'The Lady Killer / Notting Hill Horror Part,' a chilling dive into the depravity of John Christie. The series masterfully reconstructs the atmosphere of post-WWII London, a period of tentative recovery marred by the insidious darkness lurking within one of its own. Presenter Nicholas Day guides viewers through the grim narrative, highlighting the stark contrast between the era's rebuilding efforts and Christie's brutal reign of terror. The episode effectively showcases the challenges faced by law enforcement, emphasizing how early forensic science and police deduction were instrumental in unraveling the truth behind the crimes. This installment serves as a compelling reminder of how even in times of rebuilding, the most profound horrors can unfold behind closed doors, and it underscores the persistent fight for justice against unimaginable evil.
