MST3K: THE INCREDIBLY STRANGE CREATURES WHO STOPPED LIVING AND BECAME MIXED-UP ZOMBIES

Cinemavixion Review

This installment of Mystery Science Theater 3000 plunges viewers into the bewildering world of "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-up Zombies." What begins as a seemingly innocent carnival outing for a trio of unsuspecting characters quickly devolves into a delightfully bizarre and campy horror musical. The narrative unfurls around a sinister zombie plot orchestrated by the alluring stripper Carmelita and her enigmatic fortune-telling sister, Estrella. The film is a whirlwind of classic B-movie tropes: shambling zombies, mystical fortune tellers, and even acid-wielding henchmen, all wrapped up in a surprisingly catchy musical format. It’s a testament to MST3K’s unique brand of commentary that such a peculiar film is brought to life with humor and affection, highlighting the sheer absurdity and charm of its low-budget roots.
