MST3K SURGICALLY ENHANCED: 512 MITCHELL

Cinemavixion Review

This installment of Mystery Science Theater 3000, "Mitchell," offers a unique, albeit low-budget, cinematic experience. The premise of riffing on a forgotten film is central to MST3K's enduring charm, and Experiment 512, "Mitchell," is no exception. While the film itself may be a B-movie relic, the true stars are Joel, Mike, and the bots, whose witty commentary and absurd observations elevate the viewing. The humor, often self-aware and meta, transforms a potentially dull film into a source of communal laughter. It's a testament to the show's format that even a lesser-known movie can become fodder for such creative and entertaining satire. This episode highlights the show's knack for finding the funny in the forgotten corners of cinema.
