MST3K: ALIEN FROM L.A.

Cinemavixion Review

Mystery Science Theater 3000's take on 'Alien From L.A.' transforms a forgotten 80s sci-fi flick into a masterclass of comedic commentary. This episode brilliantly dissects the cult classic, originally starring Kathy Ireland, with the signature wit of Mike, Servo, and Crow. Their annotations provide layers of humor, from pop culture nods to obscure references, enhancing the viewing experience far beyond the original film's merits. It's a testament to MST3K's unique ability to find the fun in the flawed, offering a sharp, satirical lens through which to appreciate (and mock) cinematic endeavors. This installment is a prime example of the show's enduring appeal, turning a B-movie into a beloved comedy event.
