MST3K 617: THE SWORD AND THE DRAGON

Cinemavixion Review

This installment of Mystery Science Theater 3000 delves into the 1956 historical epic, "The Sword and the Dragon." While the film itself may be the subject of the experiment, it's the inimitable commentary from Joel, Mike, and the 'bots that truly transforms the viewing experience. Expect a journey through a narrative that, while perhaps earnest in its original intent, provides ample fodder for the crew's sharp wit and absurd observations. The episode is a testament to MST3K's unique ability to find humor in the overlooked corners of cinema, proving that even a potentially dry historical piece can become a source of riotous laughter when filtered through their particular brand of comedic genius. Prepare for riffs that are as sharp as any sword depicted on screen.
