MOUNT ADAMS

Cinemavixion Review

Phillip Wade's "Mount Adams" plunges viewers into a chilling found-footage nightmare, set against the backdrop of a notoriously active paranormal hotspot. The film follows a team of eager UFO investigators whose documentary aspirations quickly devolve into a desperate fight for survival. As they venture onto the remote slopes of Mount Adams, their pursuit of extraterrestrial evidence turns into a harrowing ordeal when they become the prey of monstrous alien creatures. The narrative cleverly utilizes the investigators' own cameras to capture the escalating terror, offering a visceral and claustrophobic experience. While the film leans heavily into its suspenseful premise and the isolation of its setting, it's the relentless tension and the raw, unvarnished depiction of the hunt that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. "Mount Adams" is a commendable entry into the found-footage subgenre, effectively delivering a terrifying encounter with the unknown.
