MOTHER TERESA AND ME

Cinemavixion Review

This poignant film, "Mother Teresa and Me," invites viewers into the heart of Calcutta through the eyes of Kavita, a young English woman grappling with a personal crisis. Abandoned and adrift, Kavita seeks solace in the city that Mother Teresa called home. What unfolds is a profound exploration of resilience, not just of the iconic figure herself, but also of the human spirit in the face of adversity. The narrative skillfully weaves Kavita's journey with the spiritual trials and tribulations that even a figure of immense faith must endure, referencing the concept of the "dark night of the soul." Through Mother Teresa's unwavering example of perseverance and boundless compassion, Kavita finds a path toward hope and a renewed sense of purpose. This is a powerfully acted and inspirational piece that subtly underscores the redemptive power of helping others navigate their own struggles.
