Cinemavixion Review
This retelling of the classic "Mother Holly" tale introduces us to a widow with two daughters. The narrative contrasts the inherent laziness and unattractiveness of the eldest with the beauty and diligence of her younger, stepdaughter. While the description is brief, it sets the stage for a familiar fable exploring themes of kindness, hardship, and the eventual triumph of virtue.
