Cinemavixion Review

Pamela Littky's "Most Likely to Succeed" offers a poignant and extended look at the varied trajectories of four individuals chosen as high school "most likely to succeed" in 2007. Spanning a decade, this documentary, helmed by the acclaimed photographer Littky, meticulously charts the unpredictable paths these teenagers take as they forge their own definitions of success in the complex landscape of 21st-century America. While the film's IMDb rating stands at a respectable 7.0/10 and it garnered a 67% on Rotten Tomatoes, its true strength lies in its patient observation and intimate portrayal of dreams, challenges, and the often-unforeseen turns of adult life. It's a compelling study of aspiration versus reality, inviting viewers to reflect on their own journeys and the multifaceted nature of achievement.
