MOST LIKELY TO MURDER

Cinemavixion Review

Adam Pally leads 'Most Likely to Murder' with a charming, if somewhat misguided, performance as Billy, a man returning to his hometown only to find his high school glory days have faded. The film cleverly blends elements of a nostalgic high school reunion with a comedic murder mystery, as Billy becomes fixated on proving his former rival is a killer. Director Dan Gregor crafts a narrative that, while perhaps leaning into familiar tropes, offers genuine laughs and a surprisingly sweet romantic subplot. The chemistry between Pally and Rachel Bloom, who plays his past love interest, anchors the film's emotional core. With a Rotten Tomatoes score of 62%, it’s a diverting watch for those who enjoy a lighthearted whodunit with a touch of romantic comedy, exploring themes of arrested development and the enduring power of first love.
