MORTAL POKER

Cinemavixion Review

In the desolate expanse of the desert, 'Mortal Poker' sets the stage for a high-stakes game where the chips are lives and the pot is survival. Director Mickael Gold crafts a tense narrative around a private poker game where every all-in bet carries lethal consequences. The film, starring Ion Ciotu, Iris Disla, and Gold himself, plunges viewers into a claustrophobic atmosphere where desperation and greed collide. While the premise is undeniably gripping, the film's execution hinges on its ability to sustain the suspense and explore the psychological toll of such a deadly gamble. It's a stark reminder that in some games, losing isn't an option.
