MOONFIRE

Cinemavixion Review

Michael Parkhurst's 'Moonfire' plunges viewers into a gritty, sun-drenched Mexico where a group of unsuspecting truckers become entangled in a perilous hunt for a Nazi fugitive. The film masterfully blends high-octane chase sequences and brutal confrontations with a simmering undercurrent of mystery, centering on the enigmatic vanishing of a wealthy recluse. Richard Egan, Charles Napier, and the imposing Sonny Liston anchor the narrative with performances that capture the raw tension of their predicament. While the narrative threads of pursuit and disappearance weave together, it's the visceral depiction of survival against overwhelming odds that truly defines this 1970s thriller. 'Moonfire' offers a compelling, if rugged, cinematic experience that resonates with the spirit of classic action cinema.
