MOON ZERO TWO

Cinemavixion Review

Embark on a peculiar journey with "Moon Zero Two," a 1969 British science fiction film directed by Roy Ward Baker. Set against the backdrop of lunar exploration and space salvage, the narrative weaves a tale of intrigue involving a valuable sapphire asteroid, a clandestine criminal operation, and a determined salvage expert caught in the middle. While the film may not boast widespread critical acclaim, its unique premise and period aesthetic offer a distinctive slice of retro-futurism. James Olson leads the cast, navigating a plot filled with double-crosses and unexpected alliances on the desolate lunar surface. "Moon Zero Two" presents a fascinating, albeit somewhat niche, vision of space opera that rewards patient viewers with its B-movie charm and imaginative, if dated, special effects.
