MONSTER HUNTERS

Cinemavixion Review

Brendan Petrizzo's 'Monster Hunters' plunges viewers into a desolate California desert where an alien prison ship's catastrophic crash unleashes a wave of extraterrestrial horrors. The film pits a desperate military against relentless creatures, only to reveal that humanity's last stand rests with a specialized, yet untested, government unit. The narrative, featuring a cast including Tom Sizemore, Anthony Jensen, and Connie Jo Sechrist, explores themes of survival and the unknown, set against a backdrop of escalating alien threats. While the film garnered a modest 44% on Rotten Tomatoes, its action-packed premise and sci-fi conceit offer a B-movie thrill for fans of creature features and military-versus-alien scenarios. The lean runtime ensures a brisk pace, making it an accessible, if unpolished, entry into the genre.
