MONSTER GRIZZLY

Cinemavixion Review

Richard Douglas Jensen's "Monster Grizzly" plunges viewers into the unforgiving wilderness of Idaho, where a remote mountain town becomes the battleground for survival. The film masterfully crafts a narrative of ecological disruption, as a grizzly bear, driven to unprecedented aggression by relentless fracking, transforms into a terrifying force of nature. Jensen, who also penned the screenplay, effectively builds tension, trapping both the characters and the audience in a deadly standoff against the beast amidst a paralyzing blizzard. Kelly Reno anchors the film as a determined sheriff, facing the daunting task of protecting his community. While the IMDb rating suggests a challenging reception, the premise offers a potent blend of creature feature thrills and a timely environmental message, making it a noteworthy, albeit harrowing, cinematic experience.
