MONEY PLANE

Cinemavixion Review

Andrew Lawrence's 'Money Plane' plunges audiences into a high-stakes, futuristic heist narrative, centering on a professional thief burdened by debt and a ticking clock. The film boasts a surprisingly high-profile cast, including Adam Copeland, Kelsey Grammer, and Thomas Jane, who bring a certain gravitas to their roles despite the film's B-movie premise. Copeland, in particular, anchors the action with a performance that balances desperation and determination. While the plot unfolds within the confines of an airborne casino, a unique and visually interesting setting, the execution sometimes struggles to maintain momentum. The film, released in 2020, garnered a mixed reception, with critics often citing its ambitious concept weighed down by budgetary constraints. However, for viewers seeking a straightforward action flick with a dose of anachronistic charm and a memorable premise, 'Money Plane' offers an entertaining, albeit flawed, cinematic experience.
