MONEY AND CRIME IN PATTAYA

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary-style series, "Money and Crime in Pattaya," offers a raw and unfiltered glimpse into the often-turbulent experiences of tourists in Thailand. Through the eyes of English-speaking Thai Tourist Police, viewers are plunged into a spectrum of situations, from minor misunderstandings to serious altercations. The narratives highlight the precarious balance tourists strike between seeking adventure and inadvertently finding themselves in perilous circumstances. Whether as perpetrators or victims, the characters navigate a side of Thailand rarely depicted, where encounters with assault, robbery, and deceit are stark realities. The series effectively uses the police as a lens to explore diverse, often cautionary, tales, revealing the unexpected challenges that can arise when exploring a foreign land. It serves as a potent reminder of the complexities and potential dangers that lie beyond the idyllic tourist facade.
