MOM, MURDER & ME

Cinemavixion Review

Heather Donnell's "Mom, Murder & Me" offers a delightful blend of maternal intuition and amateur sleuthing, wrapped in a comedic package. The film charts Annabel's reluctant journey into a murder investigation, spurred by her overprotective mother, Joan. What begins as a seemingly simple case of a neighbor's passing quickly escalates into a thrilling, albeit comical, pursuit of a hidden killer, with Annabel and Joan forming an unlikely, yet effective, investigative duo. The chemistry between the leads, anchored by Sarah Klaren and Kathy Garver, drives the narrative, making their bumbling yet persistent efforts to uncover the truth both engaging and humorous. While the film may not boast major accolades, its charm lies in its relatable premise and lighthearted execution, making it a pleasant watch for those who enjoy a cozy mystery with a strong familial dynamic.
