MISSISSIPPI RIVER SHARKS

Cinemavixion Review

"Mississippi River Sharks" plunges viewers into a delightfully B-movie premise: a fish rodeo on the Mississippi River becomes the hunting ground for a swarm of aquatic predators. The film, directed by Misty Talley and featuring a cast including Cassie Steele, Jason London, and Miles Doleac, leans into its outlandish concept with enthusiastic abandon. While the narrative centers on a predictable battle for survival against the toothy invaders, the true charm lies in its commitment to schlocky fun. The ensemble cast delivers their lines with a campy earnestness that perfectly suits the material. It’s a creature feature that doesn’t take itself too seriously, offering a breezy, if somewhat predictable, dose of aquatic terror for fans of the genre. This is a film best enjoyed with a sense of humor, appreciating its low-budget thrills and over-the-top encounters.
