MICKEY SPILLANE'S ENCORE FOR MURDER

Cinemavixion Review

Mickey Spillane's Encore for Murder presents a unique audio-visual experience, adapted from the Spillane/Collins script. Filmed across two dress rehearsals and a live stage performance, this production channels the spirit of Golden Age Radio. Set in Owensboro, Kentucky, and Clearwater, Florida, the narrative features Gary Sandy, known for his role in "WKRP In Cincinnati," stepping into the iconic shoes of detective Mike Hammer. While the description focuses on the production's methodology rather than a detailed plot, it promises a faithful rendition of Spillane's hardboiled style, brought to life by Sandy's performance.
