MIA

Cinemavixion Review

Luis Ferrer's "Mia" presents a poignant exploration of human connection forged in unexpected circumstances. The narrative centers on a sheltered seventeen-year-old whose path intersects with a troubled drifter, igniting a journey steeped in loss and self-discovery. The film masterfully navigates the complexities of their relationship, offering a raw and emotional portrayal of vulnerability and resilience. While the external data indicates a runtime of 81 minutes and a genre classification of Thriller, the core emotional arc suggests a deeply humanistic drama. The performances, particularly from Shah Motia and Emiliana Jasper, are central to the film's impact, drawing viewers into their intertwined fates. "Mia" is a compelling character study that resonates with its exploration of shared humanity and the transformative power of unlikely bonds.
