METEOR MOON

Cinemavixion Review

"Meteor Moon" presents a high-stakes, apocalyptic scenario where a lunar impact propels our celestial neighbor into a collision course with Earth. Directed by Brian Nowak, the film stars Dominique Swain, Salah Boudrar, and Michael Broderick as scientists racing against time to avert global catastrophe. While the premise is undeniably gripping, the execution, as reflected in its IMDb rating, leans towards the less successful end of the disaster-thriller spectrum. The narrative attempts to balance scientific speculation with urgent action, but struggles to fully capitalize on its potent concept. Viewers seeking a straightforward, albeit flawed, sci-fi spectacle might find some engagement, but those looking for nuanced storytelling or groundbreaking special effects may be left wanting. It’s a film that offers a familiar, if somewhat uninspired, take on the 'end of the world' genre.
