METAL SHIFTERS

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Metal Shifters,' brothers grappling with the fate of their family business stumble upon an unexpected windfall: a fallen Russian satellite. Their decision to sell the wreckage to a local artist sets in motion a chain of events neither could have foreseen. The artist's incorporation of the debris into a colossal sculpture for a town celebration inadvertently unleashes a dormant alien substance. This substance animates the metallic giant, transforming it into a formidable, instinct-driven entity solely focused on survival. The film explores themes of desperation, unintended consequences, and the primal urge to exist, as the brothers must confront the monstrous creation born from their choices. Kavan Smith, Colby Johannson, and Nicole de Boer anchor the narrative with performances that navigate the escalating tension and the sheer terror of their predicament.
