MERCENARIES

Cinemavixion Review

Christopher Ray's 'Mercenaries' (2014) plunges viewers into a high-octane rescue mission where a team of formidable female commandos is dispatched to extract the President's daughter from a perilous war zone and a brutal women's prison. Led by the formidable Zoë Bell, and featuring the talents of Kristanna Loken and Vivica A. Fox, the film aims for a thrilling blend of action and adventure. While it garnered a win from an unspecified award body and a modest 3.7 rating on IMDb, 'Mercenaries' offers a straightforward, albeit perhaps uninspired, take on the commando genre. Its narrative focuses on the infiltration and extraction, promising a direct and unembellished cinematic experience for fans of direct-to-video action flicks.
