MEGA PYTHON VS GATOROID

Cinemavixion Review

Mary Lambert's "Mega Python vs. Gatoroid" plunges viewers into the heart of the Florida Everglades, where an ecological crisis of monstrous proportions unfolds. The film pits an invasive species of giant pythons against the native alligator population, a premise ripe for schlocky, creature-feature thrills. Starring pop icons Tiffany and Debbie Gibson, the movie leans into its B-movie charm, offering a campy yet engaging narrative. While the plot centers on the escalating conflict between these reptilian titans, it also serves as a backdrop for exploring themes of environmental disruption and the unintended consequences of human interference. The creature effects, though perhaps dated by today's standards, contribute to the film's unique, over-the-top aesthetic, making it a memorable entry in the creature-feature genre.
