MEGA LIGHTNING

Cinemavixion Review

"Mega Lightning" plunges viewers into a harrowing night where a celebratory house party transforms into a desperate fight for survival. As a ferocious thunderstorm forces guests to seek refuge in a seemingly safe haven, they soon realize the true peril lies within the confined walls. Director David Gregory masterfully crafts an atmosphere of escalating dread, trapping the characters between the fury of nature and a more insidious threat. The performances from May Kelly, Maria Taylor, and Elliott Eason anchor the escalating tension, effectively conveying the guests' descent from unease to outright terror. While the film may not boast blockbuster accolades, its tight pacing and claustrophobic setting offer a compelling, albeit bleak, thriller experience that probes the darkness lurking beneath the surface of ordinary life. It's a chilling reminder that sometimes, the greatest dangers are the ones we invite inside.
