MEET YOU IN SCOTLAND

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Meet You in Scotland,' director David Lumsden crafts a charming romantic comedy that beautifully captures the allure of the Scottish Highlands. The narrative follows an aspiring writer, portrayed with endearing vulnerability by Emma Fischer, who finds herself in an unexpected romantic entanglement after being mistaken for someone else. Her encounter with a dashing Scottish poet, played by Finlay Bain, forms the heart of the film. As the protagonist navigates the breathtaking landscapes, she grapples with a dilemma: uphold a lie for love or risk losing it all by revealing the truth. The film excels in its portrayal of mistaken identity against a picturesque backdrop, offering a delightful escape that explores themes of honesty and the courage to pursue happiness. It's a sweet and engaging story that will resonate with fans of contemporary romance.
