MEATHOOK

Cinemavixion Review

Jeremy Ashley's "MEATHOOK" plunges viewers into a chilling narrative of resurfaced trauma and relentless dread. The film expertly weaves a tale of a woman haunted by a past massacre, only to be dragged back into its terrifying grip by a new series of killings bearing the hallmarks of her original tormentor. The inclusion of a true-crime podcaster adds a modern, voyeuristic layer, amplifying the suspense as the protagonist confronts her deepest fears. With strong performances from Rene Leech and Havon Baraka, and a palpable atmosphere of suspense, "MEATHOOK" is a compelling entry into the psychological horror genre that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats, questioning the true nature of survival and the monsters that linger.
